As Tango is not primary a icon theme, but more importantly a style guide (so windows and osx can stop beating our arses every day in providing a consitent look for our interfaces), I thought it would be cool to take a nice, but a bit olding theme and put some tango-jazz on it.
Foxtrot use similar colors to Bluecurve, but from the tango-palette.
Steven Garrity thought it was kind of neat, so perhaps someone else out there will like it aswell.
You should make it a full-blown theme inheriting from Tango, providing an index.theme
I *do* think it’s neat – I particularly like the folder and trash colors. Nice work.

Man, I am bored.
However, this (http://www.wh-hms.uni-ulm.de/~mfcn/shared/create_theme.sh) script creates scaled .png versions of the icons, an index.theme and renames them so that gnome findes the icons.
Requires librsvg2-bin (rsvg commandline tool) and icon-naming-utils (icon-name-mapping in /usr/local/libexec/).

If I might suggest, have you thought about updating the GNOME icon theme with some Tangonized icons? I know GNOME can’t use Tango itself because of licensing issues, and these icons are really pretty.

thebluesgnr: already happening. Me, jimmac and dobey are working on updating g-i-t to make it follow the icon-naming-spec and the style guidelines, check out gnome-icon-theme in the gnome cvs.

Bluecurve is my favorite icon theme, but it is getting a little dated, so I a very greatful to you, that you went a head and did this.
