Fuzzy go away!

Been doing some application icons for different projects of late. It has been mostly about making sure that things stay sharp and following the style guidelines. It’s great to see more and more of the fuzziness go away from the desktop, even though we have a lot of work to do left. So if you note a blurry icon in your menu, don’t hesitate to report it, it’s a bug!

some app icons

On a somewhat related note, where can I get hold of the person in charge of Adobe Reader on Linux? I want that icon fixed as well.

My least favourite icon is the tomboy icon. The note part looks great, however the scribble (I assume this is supposed to be writing on the note) is too blury.

I keep having to check if there is dirt on my screen :)

  20. [...] Andreas started that, Jimmac joined and declared war on fuzzyness too, and it looks like there will be a huge amount of work to do with all those fuzzy icons so, I am the another knight in this quest! For a start, I have already done two icons that I wanted to give some Tango love to, Labyrinth (mind mapping tool, and Gajim (Jabber client). Both are sent to developers now, but feel free to comment them. [...]

Already solved (check my last blogpost to see and comment them if you want :-) ):

I would like to shout glory to all knights who participated on this quest and created new icons for applications reported bellow Andreas’ blogpost. We all together fought like lions and enjoyed the whole day. [...]

    Hej.

Would you happen to publish those fine icons? I mean those including the bass key, Adobe reader and cowbell. I’d most definitely appreciate that.

    Regards, Paul.
